The Double Bedroom

  • This taupe and white bedroom features a beautiful wicker-framed double bed, upholstered bedside stands with reading lamps, a painted antique armoire with plenty of storage, soft shag rug, hanging pegs, and a full length mirror. With an airy, modern feel, this cozy bedroom is perfect for a young couple, teen, or same-gendered children who don't mind sharing a bed.

The Twin Bedroom

  • The lovely twin bedroom features two comfortable and supportive single beds, a nightstand with goose-neck reading lamps, hanging pegs, a full-length mirror, and a large enfilade for storage. Contemporary in style and decorated in taupe, white and black, the bedroom has original limestone walls and ancient wooden beams. Nothing too precious, so a great bedroom for kids or teens.

The Third Floor...
  • The third floor features two guest bedrooms that share an elegant new bathroom and a comfortable lounge area. All rooms have large skylights that open for ventilation and come equipped with blackout shades for restful sleep. Like all attics, the rooms have some sloped sides, but there is plenty of height for 6'2" adults. It's the perfect place to stash the teens. Please note that the third floor stairs are steep and are not recommended for little ones or the elderly. 

The Lounge Area

  • The comfortable lounge area is a great spot to read, play games, or catch up on family adventures. Furnished with a fold-down sofa, desk, tables, stools, and lamps, it provides another space for large groups of guests who want time to themselves, or for children who relish being away from the adults. Catch up on emails or surf the web, provided you bring your own tablet. Don't miss the sunset views from the skylights!

The Chic Bathroom
  • When we bought Maison Roux, the third floor was an empty unfinished shell with no charm or appeal. But the bones were there and in 2015, we completed the renovation including a spacious new bathroom. Decorated in grey and white, and with a large, open glass-walled shower, toilet, and contemporary double sink and mirror, it has a sleek modern feel. You will really love the rainfall shower!
