May we suggest you walk around the corner to La Maison de Framboise where Tournon native, Françoise Mirabel, the owner and chef, is offering a special four-course dinner (30 Euros/person) ONLY for our Maison Roux Guests. She makes everything from scratch using organic ingredients and is a Mâitresse of Duck and Pastries. Reservations are essential 3 weeks in advance and, once confirmed, cannot be cancelled. Details and reservation form can be found in your Special Meals and Activities folder.

• Françoise Mirabel, the chef and owner of La Maison de Framboise, has designed an Evening of Culinary Discovery at her restaurant, exclusively for Maison Roux guests. Featuring French Tapas...assorted charcuterie and cheeses, finger foods like savory mini-tarts, seasonal soups, terrine or foie gras on toast points, etc., and a variety of her amazing desserts, she has also selected three different wines to accompany the meal. Everything is made from scratch using the freshest of ingredients. Details are in your Special Activities Packet and reservations are essential 3 weeks in advance and cannot be cancelled or changed.

• Although Maison Roux is thoroughly cleaned before and after your visit, sometimes guests request interim housekeeping services during their stay. You may arrange this in advance with Maison Roux's owner for an additional hourly fee, payable in cash directly to the housekeeper when services are performed.

• The exceptional Private Chef, Adrien LaPlanche, will come to Maison Roux on a pre-arranged day and time of your choosing and whip up a sensational five-course meal for your group, including hors d'oeuvres, appetizer, main course, cheese course, and dessert...all for 40 Euros per person. Or indulge in his fabulous seven-course dinner at 55 Euros per person. A variety of menu choices are available and feature the choicest of local meats, fish and produce. Reservations are essential 3 weeks in advance and cannot be cancelled or changed.

• Your local host, Vincent, is also a French history buff and world-class photographer. Choose from a selection of 4 full-day guided tours packed with historical information: "Castles of The Hundred Years' War", "Medieval Architecture and the Bastides", "The Camino de Santiago from Lauzerte to Moissac", and "Prehistoric Caves and St. Cirq Lapopie". Vincent can also take you on additional customized historical or photographic tours centered on a theme of your choosing. Fees and itineraries available upon request directly from Vincent.
  

• ​As our special complementary gift to you, join world-renowned Flemish painter, Stefaan Eyckmans, at his stunning studio, just 10 minutes from Maison Roux in Saux. Held between 6 and 7 PM on Wednesday evenings, enjoy a glass of local wine, fascinating conversation with the artist, and a private tour of his workspace and gallery. Roam the gardens of Stefaan's private hideaway and, if you like, purchase paintings at a special discounted rate ONLY for Maison Roux guests. Reservations must be booked at least 2 weeks in advance.

• ​​Your local host, Vincent, is also an expert in French wines and offers three wine-tastings in his lovely home and garden up the street from Maison Roux. The "Blind Tasting" (red or white wine) features 6 wines from around France and is priced at 50 Euros/person or 300 Euros for groups under 6. The "Local Tasting" features 4 wines from nearby vineyards and is priced at 35 euros/person or 210 Euros for groups under 6. Each tasting lasts ~ 90 minutes and includes Vincent's exceptional knowledge and no dirty glasses to wash at the end!
